INSPIRATION SPRING/ SUMMER 2010

I wanted to show some inspiration photos for the spring 2010 collection - allthough the collection is already finished and in production. These two photos from Norwegian Elle Interiør issue 4/2006 are on my office wall for inspiration of environement for the MeMini style.
I keep coming back to these photos if in doubt of any fabrics, colors or styles would fit in the collections. I think being faithful to your original thougths and inspirations are important to keep a continuity of the collection and style.
In this environement I find inspiration in patterns, colors and the eclectic and honest way of presenting a certain vintage looking style, yet in a new and modern way.

The styles will be in shop from new years 2010, and we have never earlier had such good response on a spring&summer collection from our retailers :) The collection is inspired of the early 5o`s summer wardrobe for children, with checked fabrics and homemade applications. The colors are soft pastels and bluetones like the summer sky.
